In The Realm of E_Dragon

Well some may wonder about the title “The Astard” and my handle of ‘astardly’.  Well let me tell you a story and no, no one named Jed here but there is an old man involved.  An old man and his young friend.  Mike and Jake were good guys but get them together and well, let’s just say that they are bad.  I had posted a blog at another place that is unimportant to this post other than to say I have great Buddy List there and am thankful for the friends.

So I posted a blog and left it after talking to Mike and Jake.  Knowing I was leaving, the two of them stuck around and had a field day at my expense.  They posted some very funny stuff.  I was still getting used to that online community so I didn’t want to curse outright even though “bastard” is a bit of a on-the-line swear word.  Regardless, I checked my blog the next morning and saw many comments of Mike and Jake going back forth with each other cracking jokes about me being old (and younger than Mike I might add).

I had a good laugh and replied to the and wanted to post “Both of you are bastards” in a jokingly way only a friend can do but I didn’t want to get flagged for swearing so I dropped the B’s and we have the inception of a group of friends that I am thankful for.

And with those words the Astards were born.  I gave people that I gamed with, chatted with, laughed and bantered with An Astard Name that was befitting of them and their impact on me.  Of course us guys and our good natured gooning weren’t the only ones who could joke and be open minded about each other.  Tolerance is always going to be a facet of that and regardless of anything, the guys that have An Astard name deserve them.

Of course with like minded people as in gamers online, you have to take into consideration the women who game.  No seriously, you have.  You don’t have a choice.  These women in particular can be armed with God knows what, as long as pain and suffering is involved.  I pay homage the Lady Astards, The ‘Itches.

Now some may take offense to that word but I can assure you these wonderful women do not and some will tell you straight out no offense, seriously, right in your face even if you are trying to look away.  LOL  Then the whips come out and the laughter, that Itch Laugh that stops Astards in their path, clutching their tenders.  LOL

The group of friends I have taken were all from that online community that I mentioned and it was that community that fostered our growth, it also provided us with challenges so I am happy to be able to leave that there and have this page here for the Astards who have been unleashed on the World.
