This is my first blog so I am still trying to navigate the site and see about making categories and stuff but I think this will be a web log for the most part.  i will post stuff in succession until I can figure out how to better use this blog.

I want to be able to link this blog to a couple of blogs that I enjoy reading so stay tuned for this to go somewhere or sit idel like some of my early attempts at a blog.  i am liking this site though.  I see that like a certain social networking site it has a link that I can put up in my bookmarks bar so I hope to share things that I find in my internet wanderings.  I usually spend most of my time in a gaming site though.

For the most part, the readers here will be the readers I am used to seeing but it would be nice to have aplace of my own to visit just as much.  I can already see that I can set up the categories so this first one will be under the category of The Junk Drawer.

Do you have a Junk Drawer?  Is that one of the things that you will always find in a home?  The catch all be all of scissors, notebooks, keys, and all of the other things that tend to lay around the house, junk.  =)  For the most part, the junk drawer is in the kitchen.

I guess as a category heading, that works pretty good because there are times when I am not able to categorize what I am blogging about until I have blogged it so we’ll see how things go.  I do have a couple of other categories in mind that for me have blended into each other such as Gaming and Parenting.  With a new baby on the way in September 2008, I think I will have somet hings to blog about.  =)

So my first one is in the books as they say but shouldn’t that be changed now?  I mean ‘in the books’ usually meant that it was published and that took some time but now we can be published with the push of a submit button so I guess I can safely say that my first blog is in the computers now.  Welcome.  =)
